Panty

Panty- is the basic female underwear that comes in different styles and materials that mainly serves as protection. The term panty is used in the United States while in Britain it is called knickers.

To some, a panty may serve one just one purpose, but there are different kinds of this kind of lingerie: Bikini is a panty that comes with a thin fabric strap which connects the front and the back of the panty. The thin fabric in a bikini is usually higher than the g-string. On the other hand, the control brief is a brief-shaped panty designed to enhance the lower half of the body. It is used to give a perfect shape to the tummy, waist and butts.

Some want to look and feel sexy and the lingerie of choice is the g-string. Like the bikini, it is designed with a very thin string in the back and is visible when used with low-rise jeans. To make the legs look longer, some use a hikini which is a variation of a bikini with a higher cut.

Another all-time favorite is the tanga which has thin strap across the hips which is a bit high in the waist and lower in the legs. There are also some panties that serve a special purpose, like the maternity panty which made from elastic fabric. It has no seams and is designed to provide comfort to women during her pregnancy period allowing her to move freely.
