Shapewear
Shapewear- also called shapers. These are undergarments that hold the body to give the body shape one desires. Just like most underwear, it provides support and control. There are several kinds of shapewear, here are the most common pieces: The girdle is a piece of woman underwear worn to make one look thinner. It is usually placed around the waist to give a perfect body shape. For those who are looking to have a more shapely legs, there's also a leg shaper.
Are you looking to have a flatter tummy? A tummy shaper can give you the shape you're always been wanting; no need to spend hours and hours working out or deprive yourself of your favorite food for you can be in shape in an instant! There are also some briefs and panties designed with thick bands to help people with a little protruding tummy get a flatter one and not to forget the ever famous corset for a very curvaceous hips.

Sleepwear- these are garments worn for sleep which are basically slips, camisoles, boxer shorts, pajamas, etc… Babydoll is short night dress usually designed with ribbons, laces or ruffles and could be worn with or without the strap. It is more commonly called as a negligee in the UK. It is usually form fitting and consists of formed cups attached with a loose flowing skirt. Another favorite is the teddy, a lingerie where camisole and panty go together. It's body-fitted that it could also be used as underwear aside from being a sleepwear when word loosely. Who could have forgotten the pajamas or pj's as the modern people call them; these are loose and long sleepwear extending from waist to ankles.
The reason why a lot of people prefer to using sleepwear because it feels good on their skin and gives the comfort needed for a good night sleep. Most sleepwear are made of satin and most are accentuated laces and ribbons.
Straps
Straps- straps are long and mostly thin string attached to some lingerie used to lengthen or shorten them to give one the desired effect. They are mostly found on bras, camisoles, chemise, slips and all other undergarments that need adjusting.
Camisole straps are usually found on full-figure brassieres. Straps also come in different forms. With lingerie following trend and fashion, one may opt to use a clear strap that could be used with tubes or spaghetti-strapped tops.
For the more fashionable ones, beaded or embroidered straps are the favorites. Comfort strap is a variety of bra strap which may be cushioned or made from gel or wider strings to give the needed comfort on the shoulders.
Convertible strap of course goes with convertible bras. This type of strap could be used in many different styles; could be haltered, criss-crossed or worn the normal way. There are detachable traps so make sure that when you they are washed, you wont lose them.
There are some dresses or clothes that looks better when worn with a strapless bra, but as mentioned earlier one could go for clear or the transparent ones. When using straps just be sure that they are carefully attached so as to prevent them form falling or getting detached.
